I was introduced to sewing by my mother and discovered I had a raw passion for which I wanted to expand. First, I went to fashion, design and handcraft classes in Avignon, France. There I learned sewing, creating patterns, drawing and designing clothes. My first two years of study were based in high fashion, hand sewing pattern making from paper designs to the finished garment. Upon completion of these studies, I took a speciality in costumes as I love theatre, opera, and ballet.
During this study, I had the opportunity to do my traineeship at the Opera of Avignon in the south of France. I have also worked at an alternation shop and launderette during the summer holidays which further expanded my knowledge and experience in my chosen field.
Since then, I made myself many items as well as transforming and personalising various garments for family, friends and customers.
My most recent project was for a ballet performance in Haarlem, Netherlands where I made over forty costumes for the performance.
Designing, fashion and creation are my passion and I want to share this by giving classes to those who could be tomorrows Chanel, Dior or Versace.
